Paper Cuts

I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with paper and the forms I can create, and with this particular project, the prompt was to create anything from some provided squiggles on a page. Wanting to transform the paper from 2D to 3D, I cut the squiggles apart along the lines, shaped them with an accordion fold, and then decided to stack the unique forms to create literal depth. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am pleased with the new shapes the piece of paper took on.
